When a new tender was released for an adventure climbing area for Horsham District Council, we couldn’t wait to start an exciting new design. Our design team and area managers worked together to create a new play scheme that fit the brief. The design was created using Berliner Seilfabrik play equipment to fit the site undulation. The Terranos unit is fully adjustable so clamp heights can be altered to suit natural mounding. Horsham Park Play Area is now an exciting climbing adventure!
The brief asked for an eye-catching unit, dynamic and challenging, with a wow factor. The site design and Berliner equipment certainly provides just that. The Trii climbing house gives a lookout point at the top of the site, with a fireman’s pole for extra adventure. Moving down the slope, the Terrano unit is comprised of multiple climbing and balancing elements. The final climbing piece is the Quadrifol, a huge spatial net that can hold lots of children.
